 Hi! Today i'm going to tell you why i chose to study sociology... First of all, as a child i wanted to be hairdresser but when i got older i started read a lot, then i got interested in careers like Law and sociology. When i was in my first year of high school i thought that i would like to study foreing trade engineering, however the numbers are not my thing. So in second grade of high school i got interested in sociology again, and during the summer holidays I decided to attend a sociology summer course  at the university of Chile (the program is called EDV) There i realized that i wanted study sociology because i learned more about it and many things were very interesting to me. Hi! I'm Nicol Venegas. I was born on may 21st,2002. So, my birthday is always a holiday, which is nice. I live in Melipilla, specifically in a rural area called Mallarauco. By the way, in Mallarauco there is a legend about El   Tunel de Mallarauco,  which says that it was possible to build it because Patricio Larraín (owner of Mallarauco in the 19th century) made a pact with the devil.   Let me know i f you want to know more about the legend!  I am a member of a family of 4, and we have nine pets: 6 dogs and 3 cats. All of them are adoptated. However, i have two pets that are like my children: my cat Anastasio and my dog Sucarita. Currently, i am in my second year of sociology at the University of Chile. In my free time, I usually watch anime, read and sometimes play guitar.
